RIAA owns your money even if you think you are getting away with it. For every CD Burner you buy, $2 is going to the RIAA. There are thousands of CD burners being bought everyday and the RIA cashes in on each one! Oh , don’t forget teh media that you buy too. They cash in on each pack of blanks that you buy as well. So much for stickin’ it to the man.

Yeah, but you buy a burner once - and they get nothing on blank media compared to the actual cd. However, you are right - the real people that get hurt the most by burning cds are the musicians, artists (covers etc), producers etc. They get nothing when you copy cds.
