Carpool, take public transit, move, telecommute, switch jobs, buy a scooter, get an electric car and some solar panels, switch to ethanol/bio-diesel and make it yourself. If you're willing to pay 3, 4 or even $5/gallon as I'm sure many people will be when it hits that price (and it will) then suck it up and pay. Don't complain about how it's unfair. You really do have a choice. If the price is too high don't complain to congress or at Exxon or at the Whitehouse, just don't pay. No one has got a literal gun to your head. 6. Don’t Buy Gas
