Those of you that have Paypal accounts AND offshore savings accounts better watch out. The IRS won the permission from a federal court in San Jose for account information. Paypal, who is owned by online auction giant, Ebay, has had money sent to financial institutions in 30 countries known to be tax havens. I don’t think this will affect everyday users, but it sure does scare me into believing that nothing is private anymore. Hey I might as well post all my financial information on MySpace, like that 14 year old girl on TV. Damn.
