Does Buying Groceries Really Save You That Much Money?

Alright everyone, starting in the month of March I will be conducting an experiment. I will go and buy one week’s of groceries for a single person and compare to a week of going out to eat for a week. I have not come up with any numbers yet, because I really don’t know what a week’s worth of groceries is for any one person. I may just try to buy ingredients for one week’s worth or lunch and dinner. I will throw in a few snacks for work as well. Eating at home may be healthier than you think, but depending on what you buy, it can be just as unhealthy. I will come up with a few numbers later tonight and see where I am at. A weekly update on my personal weight will also be posted. Let’s see how this goes.
