USGA Rule Change to Allow Range Finders

In an unprecedented move, the USGA is going to allow the electronic range finders in tournament play. I don’t really know what this is going to do to the golf game, but amateurs have been using this for years. The new states that the rule will be enforced locally. That means the the individual courses may or may not allow them for tournament play. Now could you imagine Mickelsen, Singh, and Woods using these tools to improve their shots? I compare this to steroids in baseball, unnecessary. Hey USGA, why don’t we just make the holes larger? ;)
