Foulke has been shut down for the rest of the season as reported by Peter Gammons. Foulke will probably undergo some sort of knee surgery and it will end his season. Not only does Boston drop to second place (1 game behind the Yankees), he was also quoted as saying,
People don’t understand there’s times when we want to be private,” he told the paper. “There’s a lot of times people come up and they get in your business. … It’s one of the reasons that for next year I am relocating. I’m moving out of the city so I can be with myself a little more.
Once again, there is unnecessary drama in the locker room as they head into Baltimore. I will be at all three games this weekend and I will take some pictures of the action.
