Update: Steve Jobs has confirmed the new Intel-based Powerbooks will be shipping in June 2006.
Apple is most likely going to announce their new line of Powerbooks later in the week. It was reported by Engadget that the Powerbooks will not be the x86 based Pentium Powerbooks quite yet. But they have noticed that the Powerbooks will have a processor, RAM, and HD upgrade options and probably some minor aesthetic changes. If you can’t wait for one, then get it. The new Powerbooks will be coming in Q2 of 2006.
