In latest news, Google has been trying to acquire all the dead fiber optic networks left in the continental U.S. and as many wi-fi companies as they can so they may create a gigantic wireless network for interactive televsion as well as an on-demand video system. Essentially, this will provide users with free wi-fi access. Quite amazing. What does this mean to the industry?
Google as we all know has been on the bleeding edge in search algorithms. But now they are converging all their knowledge of usability with real world applications. This is speculation and Google is trying to deny it, but they’ve always got something up their sleeve. I’ll keep you posted.
